The launch of our membership program is an incredibly exciting time. Those who choose to convert their depositor status to that of a member are true pioneers and will help shape the future of the community. This is a big step towards welcoming you home to Lewes Lodge - and you’ll get to officially choose your apartment!
We are so excited to start this process and hope you are as well! If you have any questions about your depositor number, would like to discuss apartment selection, or need anything at all, we’re always here to help.
We’re so thankful that you’ve chosen to put your trust in us by becoming a Lewes Lodge depositor for independent living! You know the importance and value of being on our wait list, and now is the time to reap the benefits of your savvy investment.
We begin offering memberships to all of our independent living depositors - beginning with #1 and working our way down the list. Each depositor then has the opportunity to say one of the following:
“Yes! I’m committing to moving to Lewes Lodge within 60 days of opening!”
“I’m not ready to commit to membership just yet, but you can move me to the independent living waitlist for later.”
“I’m waiting for the launch of membership for assisted living and memory care!”
“I don’t think Lewes Lodge is the place for me. I’d like my deposit back and to be removed from the waitlist.”
Remember, Membership benefits are extensive! Members who select an apartment and agree to move-in within 60-days of opening will receive 50% off the one-time community service fee (one month’s rent vs. two month’s rent) and lock in pre-opening pricing for your first year of residency.
September 29th – October 31st
You will receive notification that membership has begun, and you will have approximately 30 days to return your intention to accept or decline membership, along with your top apartment choices.
In this notification will be everything you need to make an informed decision, including building layouts, full page floor plans, and step by step instructions to submit your intent for membership.
October 31st
Your intent to accept or decline membership is due. If you intend to accept membership, you’ll need to include your top apartment choices as well as your Application for Residency and ask that you complete one along with your Intent for Membership form if you haven’t already done so.
The interest and strength of Lewes Lodge’s deposit list is unlike any other community Vantage Point has built. As you list out your preferred apartments, please bear this in mind. The more options you list, the better. Remember that your awarded apartment will be based on your deposit date as well as best available choice in apartment preference order.
If none of your apartment choices are available at the time of your selection, we will be in touch as soon as possible to let you know and discuss additional options and next steps.
November 1st & On
The Lewes Lodge team will begin to contact depositors by order of their deposit date to notify them of their awarded apartment. If you choose to select that apartment we’ll coordinate a time for you to sign your membership agreement and submit the remainder of the one-time community fee for your apartment (1 month’s rent less your $2,500 deposit). This may take several weeks, depending on response – but we promise we’ll be in touch as soon as possible!
Upon Lewes Lodge’s opening, you will sign a 12-month lease agreement for your selected apartment, at which time your first month’s rent will be due.
